After install

First run, in order

Press Alt + Shift + 1 to prove the shortcuts registered.
Set a save folder in Settings → Screenshots.
Add a translation provider only if you want one.

Windows warned me about the installer.

Capto is not code-signed with an EV certificate yet, so SmartScreen may show a warning on a fresh release. Choose More info → Run anyway.

Do I need admin rights?

No. The NSIS installer does a per-user install by default and writes to your profile.

How do updates work?

Capto checks the signed update feed when it opens. Choose Update in the Dynamic Island to download with progress; the verified update installs on the next launch. Settings and History remain in %APPDATA%\Capto.

How do I uninstall it cleanly?

Uninstall from Windows Settings, then delete %APPDATA%\Capto if you also want the History and preferences gone. Anything you uploaded to your own bucket stays there.
