Every published installer is listed in a separately signed release manifest.
First run
- Press Alt + Shift + 1 to prove the shortcuts registered.
- Set a save folder in Settings → Screenshots.
- Add a translation provider only if you want one.
- Open the All-in-One command bar from the tray, or use a global shortcut to launch an action directly. The command bar has no default binding until you assign one.

Could Windows warn about the installer?
The installer may trigger SmartScreen because Capto does not yet have an EV certificate. The signed update metadata is verified separately.
Do I need admin rights?
The NSIS installer uses a per-user install and does not require admin rights.
How do updates work?
Capto checks the signed update feed at startup and every 30 minutes. Choose Update in the All-in-One command bar or Settings to download with progress; the verified update installs on the next launch unless you restart now. Settings and Library entries remain in %APPDATA%\Capto.
How do I uninstall it cleanly?
Uninstall from Windows Settings, then delete %APPDATA%\Capto if you also want Library entries and app settings removed. Anything you uploaded to your own bucket stays there.
Is there a portable build?
No portable artifact is published. Capto ships as a per-user NSIS installer.
Is there a macOS or Linux build?
Not today. Capto leans on Windows-specific capture and window APIs, so the Windows build is the only one that exists.
